The Building Permits/Zoning Board will strive to assist you with your construction project in an efficient and accountable manner. They are responsible for permitting all construction and conducting inspections of all construction-related permits as well as Water/Sewer permits.

What is the process for getting a building permit?

Do I need a permit to put up a fence?
Yes, permits are required to construct a fence on your property. Please see the Zoning ordinance for rules and regulations.
May I begin a building project without receiving a permit?
No, before beginning any building project a completed permit must be turned into the Zoning Committee for approval before starting. For more information on the permit process please contact Village Hall 309-924-1525.
